NY weekly vs biweekly pay

Hanes paid NY employees on a weekly basis. We will be paying NY employees on a biweekly basis.

Some people have asked:  "Isn't it required that all workers be paid weekly in NY?"

The answer is:  No.  The NY department of labor is mainly focused on "manual workers" being paid weekly (such as construction workers).

There are many, many retailers and other companies in NY that pay biweekly.
