What if I’ve already had medical expenses that counted towards my deductible or out-of-pocket maximum on my previous plan?

Even though our plan year will be 11/1-10/31, deductibles and max-out-of-pocket will be on a calendar year basis.

We will be getting data from Cigna on what you and others paid towards your deductible and maximum out of pockets towards the end of October and you'll get a "credit" for that amount. So, if your maximum out of pocket on your current plan was $4,000, it will be as if you paid that much towards our plan for calendar year 2024.

Note: if the plan you choose with us has a maximum out of pocket of $5,000 and your year to date out of pocket with Hanes is $4,000, you will still potentially pay that additional $1,000 depending on services you get between 11/1 and 12/31/24.

On 1/1/25, all the deductibles and max out-of-pockets will reset to $0.
